Brick Lane Indian food recommendation

Enough plasma to stretch across a week of blog posts.

Meanwhile, I will say that we ended our day at the Bahara Indian Kitchen & Culture restaurant 79, Brick Lane London E1 6QL

I wrote them a Google Review on the train home:

Passing by and feeling hunger pangs, we were drawn to the open, bright, light, look, and the pricing was competitive. Inside we were greeted kindly and quickly seated on comfy velvet covered chairs. The menu was not overly long (a good sign as it indicates a commitment to doing a few dishes well, instead of loads badly).

We were not disappointed! It was fine and delicious. The biryani contained whole spices and was sprinkled with crunchy onions. Cauliflower had a little crunch not mushy!

A super meal.

Service was great and generous portions.

Loved the enthusiastic mural (look out for the lady with the long fingers 😉).

Excitement as they prepped for a special booking of social media influencers, with pro cameras (journalist?) at the ready. Fun.
